Hope Holds Strange Weather

Winter storm arrives
Mighty winds toss far and high
We dare not sleep.

When men pray in fear
And tyranny offers hope
Peace must go hungry.

Each pearl of warmth is
An act of pure resistance
Melts all winter's frost.

A Pukeko paced
The long bench seat on the deck
Till it found its wings.

Ignorance builds walls
Ink paper community
We rise summer suns.

I was lost
Wanted to fly away
But life sended light

Both my clockmaker and I ended up in the hospital
He is home again and recovering
I nearly broke my back and am recovering too
.

I want to thank all my beautiful friends here, I know I didn't visit you all for a long time

But to read, or simply listen or look at your wonderous posts made me happy many times
.
Don't forget that I think about you all and that I want to be back again here, with music, poetry and scribblings .

Thanks to life, which has given me so much
It has given me two eyes, and when I open them
I clearly distinguish black from white
And in the high sky, its starry depths,
And from the crowds, the man that I love.
Thanks to life, which has given me so much
It has given me hearing, which in all its breadth
Day and night records crickets and canaries,
Hammers, turbines, barking, dark clouds,
And the tender voice of my beloved one

Thanks to life, which has given me so much
It has given me sound and the alphabet
And with it the words to think and speak
Mother, friend, brother, and the light that brightens
The path of the soul of my loved one

It has kept my tired feet walking
