Happy New Year, gang!!

An undeniable favourite of 2025: Voices Unbound - Pride Edition 🏳️‍🌈💖

We honestly didn’t know how this float and event would turn out, but thanks to the support of our incredible artists, DJs, and music producers, we absolutely blew it out of the park. What a day/night. What a community❤️‍🔥

We are back open tomorrow (11AM - 5PM) - getting back into the flow of creating frames and even looking into the next rotation of artists👀

Half of my time living in Brighton was spent working at Tru Nail Art and it has been a blast.

During this time, I’ve made the best of friends in Sasha, Min and Es, and I’m so lucky that I got to work with them everyday, doing something I love.

Painting nails has always been a lil hobby of mine, and working at Tru has meant that I’ve been able to pursue this hobby as a career. Interacting with clients to create something beautiful and fun that they keep with them for weeks really is something special. Whether it be for a special occasion like a wedding or birthday, or just a monthly treat, every set has been such a joy to create (no matter how stressed I seemed at the time lol).

Tru wasn’t just about the nail art, but the people that made it, and I truly (no pun intended) will miss everyone I interacted with whilst there. Thank you to all of you who have messaged, sent me gifts, wished me luck and attended my leaving drinks last week. I am so grateful and appreciative. I’m sad to be leaving such a special space, but it is time for me to start my new adventure in Cardiff.

I will be working as the nail artist at @thecultsalon, a beautiful hair salon in Penarth, just south of Cardiff city centre and I can’t wait to meet my new clients and paint more tiny fun cute nail art!

Peep my new Instagram name and keep an eye out for when my bookings open as it will be very soon!

Lotsa love, Issa / Clarissa / @issavibenails 💖
