2025 - What a wild ride this year has been. From a very fun tour, new friends, new memories, to a new life. I’m looking forward to what 2026 has to offer. Thanks to each and every one of my friends and family for making this year something special. There are many more photos and people to share, but here are some highlights. 🫶🏻

So many fun dogs and people passionate about dog training and service dogs packed into one weekend! I wish I had more footage because so much more obedience and task training were taught that this video doesn't cover, but these are some of the things we did in our workshop/seminar.

Obedience with distractions, puppy raising with socialization and exposure training, Item Retrieval, forward momentum pull, balance/brace, anxiety alert/interruption, deep pressure therapy, block, and scent detection for medical alerts.

Another thing this video doesn’t show is the great discussions we had as a group of trainers and handlers, the support networks that were built, and the inspiration and gratitude I gained. Thanks again to @mluservicedogs for making this happen and to all the attendees!

Last week's Service Dog Seminar I co-hosted with @mluservicedogs was an invigorating experience I'm especially grateful for. I'm grateful for the guidance, partnership, and lessons I learned from Lisa, I'm grateful for the lessons I learned from the attendees and dogs that trusted me and participated in a supportive and educational weekend, I'm grateful for the support I received from my family and partner, grateful for the amazing facility we trained in, and I'm thankful for the lessons I learned about myself.

The first seminar we hosted 4 years ago was a bit nerve-wracking since it was my first and there were a lot of trainers in attendance, but we created an interactive and supportive network throughout that weekend. For this seminar, we set out to intentionally do the same, and I think we succeeded in creating a supportive environment and community that I hope keeps supporting each other. There's always more lessons to learn from dogs and other people, so let's keep helping each other learn how dogs can help people & keep learning about how people can help dogs.

Did you know that real behavior modification is actually not about heavy corrections but actually building up a positive relationship with your dog based on guidance, structure, clear communication and the most important having fun. Dog and human psychology is a big part of our way to train and rehabilitate dogs.
Be kind be fare and always set yourself and your pup for success
