I gotta say… the first week back to school was amazing. We had a great PD day.. getting to catch up with all the teachers before our students came back was amazing getting to see all of our little friends come back, some excited and some a little nervous. I’m so grateful for this life. It’s true that God gives us more than we deserve.

This is what God can do

He can take a broken marriage, hurting kids, turn it into something more beautiful than you can imagine.

A family full of love, faith to move mountains proof that God exists, and that he loves everybody. He turned us from where we were headed and brought us back to love and serve and worship as a family.
We’re so proud of Jenna to stand in front of all of her peers and her community and love Jesus out loud with boldness and grace and her beautiful voice. I still giggle and what God is doing because it’s far more than I could’ve ever dreamed up.

Emma is 10! She had a great day, we started the morning with a plan, ended up on plan c. But God made it better than we could have expected it to be. We are so blessed to have this little girl and all our family around us to celebrate her.

What an absolute privilege to be a part of these people‘s lives. We all learned so many things this week. Being the body of Christ means we all have different uses for the same purpose and that is to give God glory, and to tell everyone the good news… that Jesus died to pay for OUR sin because we couldn’t do it and what an honor it is to be a part of someone’s story. Going back to the basics is what God placed in my heart all week and simply that is loving God with all of our heart, all of our soul and all of our mind and loving our neighbors as our self (Matthew 22 37-38) That means to love them the way they need to be loved and the way God loves them. Honestly, sometimes it’s hard. It’s a tough love. It’s a father knows best love and sometimes it’s a gentle, I will sit with you through it type of love Q- how would you want to be loved during a hard time in your life? Have you loved others that way? The fact is none of us deserve it. Salvation is a gift freely given, and God has commanded us to love one another. As for me and my house. We will serve the Lord.
