The original Bandon Dunes. This course ranked 3rd among our 8-man poll behind Old Mac and Pac Dunes. These pics, and the incredible risk/reward short par4 16th hole, make you wonder how we don’t have this course as the best at Bandon. Of course, just look at my other posts for evidence!

Old MacDonald (my personal favorite at Bandon Dunes)
I knew about the Ghost Tree, I didn’t know I’d need to draw a blind 3-wood over the hill and around the tree. Such a sick hole!

Bandon Trails
1) Hole 5, amazing two-tiered short par 3. Pin is on the back shelf here. On our second loop on Trails, the pin was front left.
2) the amazing 14th tee look out. Where Mike Keiser saw his dream.
3) Hole 3, Par 5
4) Hole 14, wow

Sheep Ranch
Exceeded expectations. When the greens transform to 100% poa, this place will be even better.

Some old swings living on this page make me 🤢🤮. This is a recent one. Wish I wasn’t such a tin man but we’re trying to 🏋🏻‍♂️ and 🔩 because my best golf is still in front me. Those of you in my little golf world….Im gonna eat your lunch!

The courts are ready to welcome the action of the 2019-2020 season. Warning—if you hang out in this building too long it will brainwash you into believing in yourself and thinking you can achieve anything. @spsathletic @stpaulsschoolnh

The tour of Cape Cod continues with a stop at the Pratt’s house for some tubing for both Colin and Avery, sandbar football, and great grub.

So pumped for US Open week!!! I played like such trash today at Rancho. I’ve had 39 and 40 putts my last two rounds (I am 8 hdcp). It’s maddening. But I post this pic because even a bad golf round in LA is still 🌴😎👌 and I’m backed by some of my favorite ⛳️ places from the 🌾prairie to the 🐊low country to the 🍂🍁Berkshires to 🌊🌬MTK-The End.

Pebble throw-back to when me and my boy @timcheney1970 cancelled our tee-time at Pasatiempo when we called Pebble from our SF Hotel (at 7am) and secured a noon twosome the following day. This allowed us to avoid the hefty room rates and 2x expensive “stay and play.” With a backup on 8 tee and no one behind us(!) we played the iconic 7th hole twice!! The second time hitting three balls each with multiple clubs. What a hole and what a day!

Happy #pocketpoem Day! Here's a starry night poem by Charles Pratt, the great poet and English teacher @phillipsexeter @poets.org "The passion of all singleness to keep in touch."
