The holidays can be sweet and heavy at the same time. Both can exist.

If you’re feeling off your routine, more emotional than usual, or disappointed in yourself for not being as “on it” as you planned… I challenge you to take PAUSE.

That voice telling you to tighten up, do more, be better right now isn’t helping you move forward. It’s just adding more weight to an already packed and stressful time.

Over the years, I have found that this season is less about a test of discipline and more about a test of AWARENESS!

Awareness around 👇🏻

🎄Noticing what come up for you when things slow down..

🎄Paying attention to how you talk to yourself when life feels louder, busier & messier…

🎄Remembering what does and doesn’t work for you and serve you when it comes to nutrition choices…

🎄Noticing whether you default to shame or softness when things aren’t perfect…

Growth doesn’t disappear because routines change. I’ve actually learned myself and I’ve also witnessed with my clients that quiet growth actually happens often when you let yourself be human instead of perfect.

You don’t need to undo December.
You don’t need to “make up for it” when January rolls around.
You don’t need punishment disguised as motivation. *you know.. “EARNING” a cookie 🙄 🙅🏽‍♀️*

What you do need is honesty, compassion, and the willingness to start where you are. And take this reprieve TO get yourself excited for the goals you have for yourself!! Even if you DO wait until the new year to start… what matters is you are starting!! 👏🏻 and that will always be better than NOT starting!!

Let this be a season of staying connected to yourself, not at war with yourself. And if you need permission to ease up a little while still caring about your health well, hi!👋🏻 I hope this message could be that for you!
