With recruitment in full swing this week, we’re seeing Bid Days, successful new member classes, and more growth across Phi Delt.

A special congratulations to all of our new members. Thank you for choosing Phi Delta Theta and for letting us be part of your college experience. ⚔️

This week also celebrated expansion and new beginnings. Xavier welcomed 31 new members as the university launches a new Greek life program and Phi Delta Theta begins a new chapter on campus. Welcome to our founding Phis! We’re excited to see all that you’ll build together.

Growth is not the finish line. It’s a chance to keep moving forward, strengthen our chapters, and invest in our members as they become the greatest versions of themselves. #GuardAgainstElation

Growth. Campus involvement. Fraternity leadership. Service.

These are all ways we live out our values and all opportunities to Guard Against Elation. We saw that spirit in action this week as we welcomed a new chapter into the Phi Delt family, welcomed new members, served our communities, and invested in our chapter leaders.

The work of becoming the greatest version of yourself is never finished. How will you Guard Against Elation this week?

🏆 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 🏆

(7th of 10 upcoming posts)

96 rivalries have been set for this fall’s Iron Phi Rivalries competition that runs from August 1 - November 30. We’ll be sharing a number of the rivalries each day leading up to the official start of the competition.

The rivalries have been developed based on a number of factors: Existing school/sports rivalries, geography, past competition results, and past Iron Phi engagement.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞:

Participants should register to become an Iron Phi at www.ironphi.org, raise funds during the competition, and work towards completing their personal Iron Phi athletic event. Their individual fundraising results contribute to the fundraising total for the chapter they join upon Iron Phi registration. If individuals already have an Iron Phi fundraising page, they should continue fundraising there.

At the end of the competition, the winning chapter from each rivalry will have the highest score from this equation:

𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 (August 1 - November 30) divided by # 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫

𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐒:

Chapters have the opportunity to add to their score with the following bonus points:

𝟏 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 - Every new Iron Phi registrant from July 1 - November 30, 2026

𝟑 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 - Every current Iron Phi who raises $444+ from July 1 - November 30, 2026

𝟓 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 - Every new Iron Phi named from August 1 - November 30, 2026

Learn more and see all of the rivalries at ironphirivalries.com
