When we lost Kristen McLain 11 years ago, I discovered the toll that exhaustion, trauma, and stress played in a nurse’s career - a lot too late. I’m speechless to see life go full circle and , now because of her and Jessica Hollis’ selfless careers, we have the platform to share this message. With a front line career, chaos is a norm; but helping these future nurses from Texas State experience the tools to find their calm in the midst of chaos - and change the tides of normalcy - well, very humbling to say the least. No family should go hungry and, together, we can make sure they don’t. 🫶

Recently, with changes to SNAP benefits, local San Marcos elementary schools that host food pantries for underserved families have seen huge increases in demand. Unfortunately, these pantries are struggling to keep up so we’re stepping in! 📦🍎

✨This November, we’re teaming up with multiple TXST orgs to launch Bobcat Boxes a month-long food drive to help stock local school pantries.

How to Donate?

🔍First find one of our donation boxes in Supple or Ingram hall
🥫Drop in dry foods, canned foods, rice, and non-perishable items to the boxes
📲Log your donation!

🏆 The org with the most donations by the end of November has a chance to win a special prize from Wild Rice Yoga Studio and Tantra Coffee!

Let’s make sure every San Marcos family has food on the table this holiday season.

Walking you though the process of getting my full body early detection scan @prenuvo. This scan was probably the best gift I’ve ever given myself. It’s simple, painless, and non invasive.
