This spot on East Passyunk always brings us right back to Italy with their authentic dishes & fresh pastas 🍝

We were invited back to try some fresh menu items for the fall.

Here is what we loved :
Pampanella Molisana: pork belly skewers, a nice service for a starter , great flavor and paired nicely with the roasted red peppers & arugula

Maccheroni Alla Mugnaia : single-strand pasta, tomato-braised goat ragu, peperoncini, rosemary, pecorino- The ragu was exceptional

Hand Rolled Ceppe Alla Vittoria: roasted butternut squash, abruzzese saffron, pecorino, bacon- a perfect dish for the Fall

Porcini Timballo: layered crepe lasagna', porcini besciamella, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, ricotta, parmigiano, aged balsamic- absolutely loved this dish. We loved the presentation and we could not put down our forks on this one

This slice of Italy is located on East Passyunk and has become a must try Italian spot in Philly over the years

At Le Virtu their vibe is relaxed, unhurried & unfussy. They pride themselves in having one of the best Italian wine lists in the city , and their menu & restaurant overall is a homage to Abruzzo, their place of family origin.

The chef brings an understanding of French & Italian cuisine & they are dedicated to principles of sustainability & work closely with local farms to utilize ingredients that truly makes some of the best food we have had.

The Maccheroni alla Mugnaia & the Ricotta Triangoli were exceptional & we cannot wait to get back to have them again.

The Agnello a Scottadito - grilled lamb chop ribs- we're so flavorful & cooked to perfection.

And for dessert, the tiramisu may have been some of the best we have ever had.

Couldn't recommend this spot enough, be sure to check them out!

Tough weekend for Philly sports but at least @sportssocialphilly got us through it 🏀🏒
