This summer I had to say some of my greatest goodbyes, all without warning, while getting ready to say hello to one of the greatest chapters of my life. If I have learned anything, its that life is too short, it’s not fair, and you never know when it’s going to be your last time with someone, so appreciate every moment, even the bad, and live every day like it is your last. Be kind to everyone, love the people you don’t even like, and always stay true to yourself. Even though I’m in a new city, my heart remains in the food, culture, and people of Chicago. Summer always has to come to an end, but the memories made will last a lifetime. I hope I can make my family, (including poon bear), in Heaven proud and I promise to keep their memory alive throughout my life. If you wish to do anything after reading this, please tell someone you love how much they mean to you, because you may never get the chance before they’re gone.

I'm really grateful I was able to attend at least a year of college. I didn't regret it a single bit. Younger me would have been so proud. I'm going to miss all the friends I made along the way! I will be visiting!!! Chicago isn't getting rid of me that easy. Love you Columbia

GUYS WE DID IT!!! This past weekend, Horizon A Cappella has competed in their first ever ICCA Quarterfinal at University of Chicago 🧡✨🧡

We want to thank everyone who has supported us through this aca-amazing experience and a SPECIAL shout-out to Ms. Prez, @briyannamanzanares, for achieving the Outstanding Soloist award given by our judges! We are so incredibly proud of you, Bri, and cannot express our love for you and your beautiful voice!

If you weren’t able to catch our live performance this past Saturday, we have uploaded our entire set on Youtube (which can be found in our bio 🫰). Huge thank you to @uchicagocadenza @uchicagoransomnotes @uchicagovoices for hosting at your lovely campus, and for all the friends from various groups we’ve made along the way. See you next year!

twenty twenty-five 🌘📖

2025 has been the most important year of my life up to this point with some of the highest ups I have had in a single year. not saying it was the best because it wasn’t, as I had lows that influenced me most deeply as a person. growth and wisdom being a main thing both cognitive and artistically I take from this year. i graduated, i moved out, i started film school, i had my film shown in times square, and i met the most amazing people i could ever meet or better yet be my closest friends. i look at life through a different lens because of this year that i know will stay with me for a long long time. i know for a fact 2026 will be so much bigger and i am going to experience every ounce of it to make it the brightest and greatest it can be. i am making my life and the world i live in the greatness i strive for. to the people who i experienced this year with: thank you for choosing to experience it with me and i will hold love to these moments for which i will carry with me until my last day. i love you all.
