The 10th Annual Black Empowerment Awards proudly celebrates Tyler Irving, founder of Men on the Run, as our Nonprofit of the Year honoree!

At just 18, Tyler is helping young Black men become academic standouts, student leaders, and changemakers in their communities. He founded Men on the Run during his senior year at Little Rock Southwest High School, turning his passion for empowering others into purpose.

Now a political science and public administration double major at the University of Central Arkansas, Tyler serves as Freshman Class President for 2026–2027 and Co-Chair of the Bear Advocacy Groups. He’s showing us that leadership has no age requirement!

🎟️ Get your tickets and join us as we celebrate Tyler and a decade of Black excellence! Link in our bio!
