Harmony Program Summer Camp 2026

I can’t believe that this is my third year at Harmony! It has been wonderful watching my colleagues grow over these weeks. I cherish each and everyone that I’ve met deeply this year, and last year, and the year before that.

Dr. Clinton and Taylor, thanks for all the laughs and snacks and for believing that we can do hard things. Matthew, you got stamina and patience for days. I was incredibly lucky to be even blessed by your presence.

I was supposed to perform a solo, my first ever choir solo. Lol - if you know, you know. Thanks Denis for chasing Anne with me down the halls of Juilliard. Now please, for the sake of making our garden grow, stop asking me to do your part-writing homework 🫩

See you soon Harmony, and all the beautiful music-making yet to come :)

What an honor it was to work with the @harmonyprogram @juilliardschool for my 3rd year in the youth choir ! It’s ALWAYS inspiring working with these hardworking individuals… teaching me to be better vocally each day! #choir #juilliard #lincolncenter #harmonyprogram #laguardiahighschool

It was a great honor and pleasure to attend this year’s Westminster Summer Conducting institute as well as do some singing with Kent Tritle at Saint John the Divine in NYC!

I want to thank my great friends @anthonyamandro11 @anthony_hernandezg @dawsongorby for being with me as my ride or die’s on such an amazing trip.

I also want to thank all the amazing musicians I met at Westminster for being such incredible people who I will now always look up to and be inspired by. (Let’s go cohort b!) And of course the wonderful clinicians at Westminster who really fostered my growth as a conductor and a musician in a life changing way. To ya’ll I am forever grateful.

I remember being in church as a kid chatting with my cousin and a friend about what we’d like to be when we got older. Even at that time I didn’t know that singing professionally was a real option. My friend said “I see you becoming a singer”!

Honestly, many days as a professional singer are comprised of just that… others holding you up when you’re just not sure. One of the greatest joys of this journey is the “doing it anyway”. Doing it scared, unsure, uncomfortable, and the list goes on. Having the audacity to share a part of you on that particular day. That’s what we all did on Friday in honor of our ancestors and in truth to ourselves. 🤎🙏🏽
