Last weekend was so special. 26 years ago this month I met Mandy on this grass field we parked on for the big homecoming football game at BYU vs Arizona. (It was an intramural football field back then). One of our early dates was at a rainy football game in 1998. Last weekend, the weather was perfect. So was the day—a cherished memory. Lavell Edwards Stadium was rocking. Three of our sons and two amazing daughters in law are BYU students. Cole and Luke were there with us. Mandy and I came back to the place where it all started for us…and the happy cycle has started again with the next generation of our family. (Including time with our cute granddaughter!). #byu #familytime #grateful

Today, June 1, is so fun to celebrate! I got to be with three of my favorites today.

Happy birthday to Mandy Dickson @dicksonfive who is the love of my life—my everything.

She gave birth to Tyler Dickson @tydickson23 on June 1. Happy birthday Tyler!

Today at 12:00am, Claire Amanda Dickson, our first granddaughter, joined the June 1 birthday club. She waited just long enough to make the June 1 club!

Kudos to Laura Dickson @laurajune_ and Caden Dickson @cadedickson4 who are poised new parents.

Tyler and Savanna were married on Friday surrounded by family at friends. We love Savanna and are thrilled with the union of the Dickson and Smith families. The Smiths are warm, thoughtful, and accomplished. They have a culture of selfless service. Our families share a foundation of faith. We are thrilled beyond measure! The rainy weather could not put a damper on the beautiful setting at La Caille. Thanks to those who were able to make it. Celebrating with friends and family is the best! #joyful #parentalpayday
