The heartbreaking reality of “ I used to”
While playing high school volleyball I learned I have the ability to lead others, win with all the odds against me, and know that God always has a reason for every outcome. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every teammate, coach, and competitor I have met through this sport. It wouldn’t have been the same without them.🥹 thankfully this isn’t a goodbye, but see you later;)

Dear volleyball,

These past 8 years of my life have been filled with so many emotions such as happiness, determination, excitement, and so many others. I’ve never known life without a sport and now that it’s come down to this, it’s crazy how fast time really does go by! I want to thank my parents and coaches who have never doubted me and always pushed and supported me to be the best player I could be! I’m so grateful for all of the friendships I’ve made through this sport and how much they helped me become not only a better player but also a better person. Volleyball has been a huge part of my life and I’m so sad to see this chapter close but I am so excited to see what the further holds!
