When my friends tell me they’ve never danced bachata before…

Not on my watch. 😏

This was their VERY FIRST time dancing bachata. So, I threw together some 8s and I think they absolutely understood the assignment. 🤯✨

Now be honest…
How long do you think it took them to learn this ? 👀👇

Every rehearsal, every correction, every performance led to this. So grateful for everything this season gave me. That’s a rap on the 25’-26’ season🤍

One of the most exciting parts of launching Seren Arts has been watching all the little pieces arrive.

This week, it was our flyers.

And strangely, opening these boxes instantly took me back to my first year at theatre school in London.

Like many performing arts students, I picked up weekend work to help support myself. One of those jobs involved handing out flyers across London for a promotional company. I still remember opening the boxes each weekend and secretly hoping they’d been printed on lightweight paper because the thick card stock versions felt like they weighed a ton.

Funny how the smallest things can bring back memories.

Today, opening boxes of Seren Arts flyers felt very different.

Not because the card stock is any lighter (it definitely isn’t), but because these flyers represent something I’ve dreamed about building for a very long time.

From being an 11-year-old making my West End debut, to training at SYTS / ArtsEd. to working professionally in the industry (both on and off the stage), every chapter has somehow led here.

And now, as we prepare to welcome our very first students this September, holding these in my hands feels pretty special.

The journey continues.

(And yes… they’re still ridiculously heavy. 😂)
