The amazing athletes at state track and field in Kansas!! Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

junior season, you meant so much to me. i’m beyond grateful for every lesson, every meet, every late night, every hard practice, and every person this season brought into my life. being able to medal at state was something i dreamed about for so long, and finally accomplishing that made every sacrifice worth it. i’m so thankful for my teammates and friends who made this season unforgettable and pushed me to be better every single day. most of all, i thank God for guiding me through every high and low and for putting me exactly where i’m supposed to be. i’ll forever be grateful for this season and everything it taught me.

Dear high school track there is no way I’m able to sum up what this sport means to me in words. Through all the crazy lows and even higher highs it’s hard to say good bye to high school track.

Disappointed to have ended my career with an injury but forever thankful to all my coaches, teammates, and family who have pushed me beyond what I thought was capable. Thank you Phillipsburg for all of your support the last four years I couldn’t ask for a better community to be surrounded by.

But onto the next finished my high school career as state runner up and a pr of 14.3

More than ready to begin at fort hays state to continue my track and field career.

This weekend was special for me. As a strength coach i have never really focused all too much on the sport outside of what i needed to know to deliver the best sessions and support that i could.

These boys showed me another level to track and field. It was a true privilege to play a role (for most of them) in their development & support all of them however they needed this year.

Everyone made finals in their respective events.

Karsyn became a state champ

Jack & Johnny placed top 5

Jace made finals despite running through injury & post state powerlifting we weren’t even sure we’d get a real shot in track.

Caleb - placed 3rd on a broken foot.

Peyton - did Peyton things & ran lights out all year in 400 + relays

Carlos - the most dedicated sprinter I’ve ever met. An essential part of Sublettes program

Martin - showed elite dedication to return from a hamstring tear to make it back to state.

Ty - had a great season, & definitely one to watch in college track.

Gage & Carter Cox - Gage placed top 6 in PV, Carter qualified for state ⚡️

These boys get me excited. Most of them will be back next year. Definitely ones to watch out for‼️
