This is gonna be a lengthy caption, so bear with me.

These past four years have been stressful, tumultuous, and overall, the hardest I’ve ever had to fight in my entire life so far. I treated college as my redemption arc, as I didn’t necessarily end my high school career the way I aspired to. It was a way for me to see if I could get back even an ounce of the spark I once had when tackling school and academics. Fortunately, I was able to graduate from the University of South Carolina with HONORS (cum laude) and I am just over the moon with this accomplishment I have made.

However, it’s not really the accomplishments I’ve made college-related that makes me the happiest and the most proud… but it’s the relationships and experiences gained throughout that fills me with such joy.

To my mom and my sister, Gabrielle (@fab.gabrielle), I know the road has been rocky and we have been through a lot, but I would not be here and have this moment, had it not been for the two of you. I attribute the woman I am today to the intelligence, strength, and love you both have poured into me since I was born. It’s a debt I’ll never be able to repay.

To my best friend, Toniyah (@toniimcc), you have been my light for almost the last 6 years, and you continue to inspire me to advocate for myself, push through my fears, and go after what I deserve in life. You are my best friend, my sister, and I am so happy to have you in my corner.

And to my love, my one and only, my beautiful Tyler (@tylerbarnette1), you’ve shown me that there is no one and nothing capable of stopping me. The love, attention, and respect you’ve given me is not to be taken lightly. You are my rock, my muse, and my heart. I am so grateful to have you in my life and may we continue taking on the world together.

To everyone else that’s held me up, supported me, guided me, loved me (and even to those that have hated on me), thank you for helping me realize more and more everyday who I am and what I want out of life. I love you all SOOOO much. More pictures to come later, mwahhhh 😘

The first three months of the McNair year are capped off with a few last adventures.
Miami owes me nothing but more beaches. I learned to stay focused and keep my eyes open for opportunity. Trained in the sun ☀️, fought a casino 🎰, beat a dozen bottles, chewed on the curriest of goats 🐐, and made some new blunt buddies 😌. To those that made these new memories I will forever appreciate you and I look forward 👀to the next adventure.
