For the next three weeks, this group of actors, designers, and directors will work tirelessly to bring Jackson a musical experience like you’ve never seen before. Do not wait until we open to secure your tickets. Get your tickets today to see Ragtime The Musical May 26 - June 7. Call 601-948-3533 or visit our website at www.newstagetheatre.com “A dazzling, heart-stirring masterpiece. Ragtime delivers a powerful, timeless message that resonates long after the curtain falls.”— The New York Times It’s the dawn of the 20th century, and New York City is alive with change, innovation, and the vibrant rhythms of ragtime. This Tony Award-winning musical brings to life the intertwining stories of three families—a white, upper-middle-class family in New Rochelle, an African-American musician and his girlfriend in Harlem, and a Jewish immigrant and his daughter on the Lower East Side. Their journeys are shaped by the towering figures of the era, including the daring Harry Houdini, the visionary Booker T. Washington, the powerful J.P. Morgan, and the industrial titan Henry Ford. As their lives cross paths, Ragtime delves into issues of race, class, identity, and the American Dream, delivering a stirring, intimate production that speaks as profoundly to today’s world as it did a century ago. Recommended for ages 12+. New Stage Theatre 1100 Carlisle St. Jackson, MS 39202

March 2025 | Little Women 🪶 A note on the last slide: If you know me, you know how much this show, and especially Jo, means to me. This frame now hangs on my wall and it’s a piece of the set from Little Women @um_asota and a prop from the show at @newstagetheatre . I see it daily and it’s such a great reminder of such fond memories! To my March women, I love and miss you all dearly! I am so thankful that the Lord put you in my life and I pray that I cross paths with each of you SO soon. To the apprentices, yall are stupid talented and I hope this next phase of life is treating you well! To Malaika, thanks for letting me be “your Jo”. Your support and encouragement through this entire process was extremely meaningful! To Tim, “Great Gifts - Great Responsibility” will stick with me for ever. Thank you. To friends and family who traveled from all over, wowza. Some of you traveled so far to see this show and it meant the world to me. I had someone in the audience EVERY performance! 🥰 (Also, we are gonna ignore the fact that this was posted so late. It’s been a busy summer, so get ready…) #littlewomen #littlewomenthemusical #musicaltheatre #regionaltheatre #professionaltheatre #theatre

My time as an Associate Artist at @newstagetheatre has done so much for me. I couldn’t be any more grateful. During my nine months, I have • Directed a show, co-directed a show, and assistant directed a show • Stage managed a musical • Performed in three main stage shows (Noises Off, Gaslight, and Little Women) • Sound designed two shows • Toured almost 50 times for three shows (Hamlet, Frog & Toad, We Shall Not Be Moved) • Gained SOOO many valuable connections with directors, actors, and so many other artists from all over • And so much more So many more people I wanted to tag. If you see this, know that I thank you so much. 🫶🏽♥️ To say this was a valuable experience is truly an understatement. Thank you New Stage. ‘Til next time.

Let me introduce to you: Jo’s Boys. I could not have asked for better scene partners to share this stage with! I came into this contract feeling quite discouraged and, being one of the only new people, was scared out of my wits. However, from the minute we met, you both were so encouraging and supportive and I am forever grateful. Tyler and Alex, I’ve learned so much from both of you and am thankful for the month and some change we got to spend together! (Alex, get back to NY soon so we can hang! Ok? Ok.)
