POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Q1 ‘26. Went back to work etc etc. Finished that book (7/10 — I recorded a lil review). During Ramadan, we made art posters on one of Allah SWT’s 99 names (Ar-Razaaq - The Provider). My gf Binti gifted me a beautiful vase that she sculpted w her own hands. oh and I became a certified birth doula under the tutelage of C. Sullivan, CEO of Womb Ish.

art: me & Ife and Naïm + @sabreestudio + @tylerckidd + @mintigreen and sadly I didn’t get the name of the artist who made the Lego sculpture but it was in Presser Hall at @templeuniv.

In 2025 Black Soul Summer collected and distributed over $225,000 to event organizers! This is a huge milestone as we continue to grow as an independent ticketing platform.

What started as a music festival series has transformed into a service fueled by the hard work and dedication of our founders @brothataaj and @mellodramatic.eth to support the community.

THANK YOU! 🙏🏾

We are royal...
Society has tried to repress us.
Tried to make us devalue our worth.
We are the most beautiful, intelligent, talented beings ever created.

Expressive Illustrations was created first because we witnessed racism, depression, and cultural norms within our community that had to be eradicated. It got grounded during quarantine riots when we had to think of how to be more proactive. Creating safe spaces and changing the narrative was the mission.Meant to empower and enrich our community.

Our people were not getting help with our mental, with all the things that are against us we don't have the tools sometimes stemming all the way from slavery mindsets still relevant today.

This was my call to action it went from one community ( aime lower income )and quickly turned into changing nations no matter who you are or where you come from.

When you see a crown it is a reminder of who powerful you are! How royal you are! How you deserve everything that world tried to tell you you don't!Society doesn't win with it's demoneoring antics.

We are motherfucking royal. 👑🌟
