For every day that we wake up, we are given the opportunity to thank the Lord for his mercies, and every opportunity we have to thank the Lord for His mercies is a chance to see the hard things as growth in the faith.

God is, has, and will be good, that truth doesn’t change based on the circumstances, but on how willing you are to see the trials of this present world as God pushing you or God being absent.

Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me
