Never forget to lower your excuses!
If you hang around people that validates your excuses on why you can’t achieve your goals then you’re a fool! Hang around those that will hold you accountable. The more excuses you let into the atmosphere the smaller your bank account gets. It’s 2021, if you’re not surrounding yourself around success by now then you’re still Stuck in 2019!

Brother Christian Simmons is a Senior from Chicago, and is obtaining a bachelor of science degree tailored towards business finance. After college Christian is planning to continue his career in teaching and trading commodities. Christian also sits as the Junior Vice Polemarch of the Middle Western Province, where he is implementing mental health awareness in these troubling times of COVID. Brother Simmons crossed in the Spring of 2018. Throughout his time on campus he has taught at the college of business, served as the financial director of NPHC and Campus Nightlife. He was also a previous Chapter Polemarch of the Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Lastly he served on the Board of Directors for the Middle Western Province prior to becoming the Junior Vice Polemarch.

The opportunities that present themselves in front of me, I take! AFLV Central was something that I won’t forget. Leadership development, personal development and the bonds made not only between my sorority sisters and I, but between other organizations, councils, and schools. What better way to learn and lead than to be surrounded by other leaders. I am thankful I had the opportunity to represent UNL NPHC and the Phenomenal Phi Iota Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as the president of both. 💙💙
