What a summer it has been! Now it’s cooling down Im finding myself with a little time to reflect and the first thing I want to do is mention how grateful I am to know as many talented folks as I do.

My immediate circle of Columbus (Ohio) musicians has grown to be something I am most proud of. The members of @downrodeotribute and @stonetributepilotsband @gooseboysband @dirty33band @the_jon_cross_band and @threetontoad have all become more than friends, more like partners in an uphill climb we have all endured for years. But also partners that are alongside me as I see a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. Im thankful for you all and look forward to the next time i step on stage with you.

I also feel a great amount of love and support from the people who come out to see the shows and the venue owners who book me (us) again. Getting a check with my name on it and signing broken drum sticks or little letters from kids make it all worth and give me something tangible that I can hold onto and feel recognize for my years of hard work. None of us could do it without you, I will see you at the next show.

And first but third in this post, my family who has constantly supported my journey throughout my career. Times of thick and definitely times of thin, @srtrainor @realgomez420 @owen2017z you have given me the encouragement and support I have needed to keep going and do my best and I am forever in debt to you for that love. Even if at one time it was “maybe you play a different song?” Or “maybe sing that in a different key”.

To all of those whom I don’t know that like and follow and share my things…I don’t even know how to thank you. In a day and age where attention is short and talent is high and algorithms are 💩, to see a notification and not recognize the person is a gawd awful amount of pleasure. Even if it is self indulgent and shallow because it’s a social media post. Thank you and I will keep doing my best to give you content that removes you from every day grind, songs that move you, and concerts that bring people together.
