NYCC DAYS 3 & 4
Keep Believing, keep pretending… someone should write a song about that 🥁

Hadn’t seen Dave Goelz since 2012! So great to see him again along with Bonnie Erickson, Matt Vogel, Eric Jacobson, and finally met Tyler Bunch!

The LEGENDARY Dave Goelz (Gonzo, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, Figment). To say I was honored to meet this man is an understatement. He is one of the most amazing people in the world.

I ventured to my first ever NY Comic Con today…it’s a wild place but I got to meet some of my biggest inspirations and favorite muppet performers.

The incredibly kind @welcomemattv (Kermit the Frog, Floyd Pepper, Big Bird, The Count). His podcast Below The Frame accompanied me on so many long car rides.

Eric Jacobson (Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Grover, Oscar the Grouch). A rare convention appearance and I’m so happy he was here. He was absolutely hilarious, and so kind just like everyone else at the table

Bonnie Erickson (legendary Muppet builder, built the original Miss Piggy, Statler, Waldorf and more).

@tylerthebunch (Treelo, Louie [Elmo’s Dad], Doc Hogg, and so many others). I met Tyler a few years ago at a different convention where I was the sole person who booked a professional photo op with him (and saw him on the Jim Henson Creature Shop tour) He is just the absolute kindest human being, it was so good to see him again.

I had to venture to a far away booth to find should-be Disney Legend @jimjcummings (WINNIE THE POOH!!!)

On 8/08/2010, Elmo's Music Magic first aired on PBS Kids and later released on DVD in September 2011. This is my second favorite episode from the "Murray Hosting Era" of Sesame Street (after Mine-Itis) of course, lol.

The thing about TV puppetry is it doesn't wait for perfect timing, and neither should you. While we've already begun with the first class, there is still time to join the TV Puppetry Academy Beginner cohort and watch the reply.

Where a Kid Can Be a Kid! And also where two childless adults can celebrate their wedding!

Thanks to everyone who traveled all the way to a Long Island Chuck E Cheese to have some fun, eat some pizza, and get strange looks from parents of random children.
