1 year in business today.

My biggest accomplishment in business this far was dropping out of school.

For MANY months, so many that even before I’d established myself as a business, I wanted to drop out and pursue my passion.

Dropping out was scary. I was told by every single person I talked to, except for 2 or 3, that I should stay in school.
ā€œBusiness can waitā€
ā€œYou’re so close to finishing, just finishā€
ā€œHow will you support yourself when you drop outā€
ā€œWhat if it doesn’t workā€
ā€œYou lost all but 1 client in 2 months, the only reason your can support still is because of schoolā€
ā€œMaybe you should get a real jobā€
ā€œI don’t think business is for youā€
ā€œYou have to think about your futureā€

I had so much lack of belief surrounding me. So much lack of support. So much pretend belief. So many people pushing me in different directions.

When I dropped out of school in late May I was making $280/month through my business. My business account had just over $1,000 in it. I’ve been extremely fortunate and since I dropped out I’ve multiplied my monthly income by nearly 20.

I don’t say this to brag, I say this to explain my next point:

I’m not even close to where I want to be or where I’m going. But I did the above in 1/4 of a year. Eventually I had a moment where I decided I didn’t need everyone’s approval. I didn’t need their support. I had a moment where I realized that I’d wanted to drop out for over a year and hadn’t done so because other people didn’t want me to.

I had a moment that I decided no one else’s thought processes or ideas mattered to me.

The pictures above are for the people who started teaching me business from a young age or who showed me the way through lessons and interactions had. Thank you for teaching me how to work hard, how to pursue passions, how to think outside the box, and how to be a problem solver and not a problem haver.

Thank you to every person who has supported me in my business ventures and on a personal level. I love each and every one of you, y’all are the best!

Massive announcement coming soon. I can’t wait to share my next step with you guys!!!
