Full ACL reconstruction with a patellar tendon graft, horizontal and lateral meniscus repair, and LET ❤️‍🩹

Surgery was a success, and I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Cooper and his team for taking such good care of me.

I have so many people to thank for their love and support, but I have to start with my Mum, who flew all the way from Australia to be here and help me through this. And my brother Tylor, who has literally been by my side every step of the way, selflessly supporting me while battling through his own recovery. I am forever grateful for you both.

So much love and appreciation for Christine and the Lopez family, who have each shown up for me and been by my side in their own way. It means more than you know.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, and kept me in your thoughts and prayers. They truly help, and I feel so blessed to have so many amazing people around me.
Thank you to @usaboxing for helping with my prehab which will make all the difference in my rehab.

This is definitely not a career ending injury for me. It’s simply part of the journey God has planned for me.

So now, I rebuild. I relearn. I recover. And when it’s my time, I’ll be back at the top ❤️

.
1. Q: WHAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER?
.
A: Having the ability to connect with any and everyone so easily. It’s beautiful to have such a inviting and warm persona that draws people in.
.
2. Q: WHAT’S A QUOTE YOU DISAGREE WITH?
.
A: “Ignorance is bliss.” I’ve always found that quote to be a bit problematic because I shouldn’t find joy in being ignorant. I would rather learn and become better because of it rather than remaining ignorant.
.
3. Q: WHAT’S A QUOTE YOU CAN AGREE WITH?
.
A: “There’s a seat at the table for us all!” I’ll always be an advocate of making room and sharing my platform with other people of color. When I receive resources or knowledge, I always feel the obligation to pass it along to help others in whatever way for someone else to win as well. There’s enough room for us all to win.
