A day late, but the sentiment remains the same...

Happy Global Running Day 🌍👟💚

Celebrating Global Running Day by running the @runthroughuk relay felt pretty fitting. 🏃🏾‍♀️💚

It was brilliant to see @Blackgirlsdorunuk turn up with six teams, and I was proud to be part of BGDRUK ONE with @call.me.lin._ @janefitsitall_in 🙌🏾💚

Thank you to @runthroughuk for the opportunity and for helping us celebrate Global Running Day in style. 🏃🏾‍♀️

I also came away with a medal and what felt like my strongest run since injury. 🏅💪🏾👟

The medals are nice 🥇

The finish times can be satisfying ⏰

The distances can make us proud 📏

But the biggest win is that I'm still running 🏃🏿‍♀️🫶🏿

After all these years, countless miles, highs, lows, setbacks, friendships, adventures and lessons along the way, I'm still here lacing up my trainers and heading out of the door.🚪

Running has changed over the years.

My pace has changed 💨

My goals have changed. 🎯

My body has changed.🧍🏿‍♀️

But the joy of movement and the gratitude I feel every time I run (well, most of the time 😆) remain the same. 🙏🏾💚

The year so far has included injury and a few unexpected detours, and I appreciate every run a little more and never take being able to move for granted. 🎁👟

Big love to everyone who laces up and keeps showing up, whatever that looks like for you, and especially to my Black Girls Do Run UK family.👟

Here's to moving, growing older, making memories and continuing to do something I still love after all these years. 🥰

Another incredible 2 days at last weekend’s @nationalrunningshow with @josephine.ocaka

I had a fab time at the @running.at.40plus stand which was very suitably located ☕️😘

One of the weekend’s highlights was being platformed on @deeliz08 & @julestherealrunner ‘s podcast @thestartlinepodcast 🎙️, chatting about my running journey — I truly love sharing my story 🤗. Thank you Dee and Jules for the opportunity ❤️

It was also amazing to visit the @nixibody stand with model @reneepopplewell and appreciate her stunning modelling shot on display💃🏽

So proud of @kimbowa2016 , who took to the Trail & Ultra stage with fellow Black trail runners Rebecca and Sabrina to talk about their epic UTMB experience 🏔️🔥

And it was so good to be reunited with @harryjudd too 🤗, and my shouty partner @shortfatguy_runsthemajors 🗣️😆
