NAMI Creative of the week: Paul Wright, aka @tyneratcreations

Paul is a Newcastle-based miniature artist who turns empty spray cans and everyday objects into tiny street scenes inspired by graffiti, urban art and the North East.

Each piece is packed with miniature characters, artwork and tiny details that make the scene feel properly alive.

It’s like someone has taken a little slice of the streets and sealed it inside a spray can.

Paul previously worked in a factory making spray paint, which helped inspire the idea behind TyneRat Creations.

His work has since gained worldwide attention, landing him on ITV, with people across the globe buying his original pieces and commissioning cans of their own.

He recently collaborated with @nandosuk creating an entire miniature Nando’s scene inside a PERinaise bottle.

Now other big brands are knocking on his door for custom pieces too.

Original cans start at just £100, which is far too cheap in my opinion, and Paul is also available for custom commissions.

Such a unique idea, executed with a ridiculous amount of detail.
