One of our favourite days of the year is almost here. This Sunday, the village opens its gates and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Sunday 10th May | 10.30am – 5pm

Getting here
Take the B5106 to the Groes Inn, then follow the road 2 miles into Rowen village. You can also approach from the Trefriw direction. Please don’t park on the bus route or village roads — there’s plenty of field parking for hundreds of cars. Follow the signs and the friendly marshals will guide you to the Playing Field, or Cefn Cae Farm behind the Tŷ Gwyn pub when that fills up.
Tickets
£7 per adult | Cash or card
You’ll find ticket stations near the Llanerch entrance and on the lane behind the pub. No cash points in the village, so worth coming prepared!
Your wristband comes with a map — open gardens, plant stalls, toilets, and all the refreshment stops including us 🐌
First aid? Pop to the nearest ticket station.

Refreshments on the day:
🐌 Malwen Café — come and find us
🌿 Seion Chapel Vestry (cash only)
🌿 Angorfa — cream teas & a gorgeous garden (cash only)
🌿 Tŷ Gwyn pub

Visit the gardens in whatever order feels right. Some people head straight to the top and wander back down. Others take it slow. We’d say take it slow. 🐌
This is the 16th Rowen Open Gardens — a proper community occasion and always a wonderful day. See you Sunday.

The loveliest of weekends in Snowdonia ⛰️❤️

3am wake up to be greeted by zero views and crazy winds at the summit of Snowdon for sunrise 😂 but was lucky enough to see the beautiful stars and moon on the way up 💫

We stayed in the wonderful @typandyrowen and we can’t wait to return. From the beautiful river that runs right by, to the hot tub, cosy fires, summer house and cute reading room. It honestly has everything and more. I have far too many photos to share 😂😍
