• “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” A. A. Milne •

I don’t even know where to start. Just a few weeks ago, I would never have dreamed that this university which has existed for almost 200 years would be shutting down… but somehow, we are here.
When I came to Limestone, it was due to necessity— in a similar turn of events to this one, my prior college plans fell through and I landed at LU. I quickly realized that God knew better than I did and I had landed exactly where I needed to be.
Limestone has given me so much— without my professors and friends, I would *never* have had the confidence to pursue art as a career. The encouragement of the people around me has changed the course of my life, literally. Throughout these two years, I have been continually amazed and grateful for the support of the students and faculty at Limestone; so many of my professors went above and beyond to show me that they cared, and my friends feel more like family. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be at this school, even for just a little bit of time.

Pray for the staff and students at Limestone. These last few weeks have been so hard for all of us, and we will be grieving for the next weeks as well.
