🇳🇱🇹🇹 Lost in Trinbago? More like FOUND in Trinbago! 🎶🌴

Ambassador @cor_hersbach and Deputy Lisette Blüm had a fun and engaging visit yesterday with @shermandevries one of the co-writers behind the soca track Lost in Trinbago, who was accompanied by @tyraels

It was a great opportunity to talk music, creativity and the special connections that continue to bring the Netherlands and Trinidad & Tobago together… sometimes in unexpected ways! 🇳🇱🤝🇹🇹

And when Dutch creativity meets Trini soca, maybe getting a little lost in Trinbago isn’t such a bad thing after all. 😉

Maybe you come to get Lost in Trinbago… but end up Found in Trinbago!😉🎶🇹🇹

I knew I had to be in the room, so I booked a flight! ✈️

Throwing it back to the 2024 Caribbean Music Awards at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, singing my heart out to Pressure’s “Love and Affection,” surrounded by so much Caribbean excellence and talent in one room 💫

Now I’m in Trinidad for a beautiful full-circle moment as the awards are being held in the Caribbean for the first time in their four-year history! Our very own DJ @ovadose (Global Dose) is making history as the first Bahamian nominee! 🎉

It is my goal and desire, through @mprbahamas meaningful collaboration, and strategic partnerships, to open doors and help pave the way for even more Bahamian talent to share this stage 🙌

We comin’!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
