CHILE, VOLCANOES EXPERIENCE The volcanoes land in Araucanía has been our home for the past week. We climbed Tolhuaca, Lonquimay, Llaima, and made a light approach to Sierra Nevada. Guide Highlight — Meet Bill! From surfing the south coast of NSW to chasing winters around the globe, meet Bill Barker! Bill’s ski story started with a one-week holiday in 1987, a dishwashing job, and a backcountry skiing obsession that never let up. 🤙 These days, he splits his time between hemispheres, running Bill’s Trips in Gulmarg, Kashmir, during northern winters and serving as Ski Patrol Director at his beloved Mt. Hotham down south. When he’s not guiding, patrolling, or exploring the mountains, you’ll probably find him hanging off a rock face or catching waves back home in Ulladulla. 🏄‍♂️🧗‍♂️ With decades of winters under his belt and no shortage of adventures left to chase, Bill is the definition of a life well spent outdoors.
