We are so lucky to have the support of the wider ceramic community and well established artists. We are absolutely enchanted by this gorgeous bowl, that has travelled all the way from Isle of Tiree, donated by @tyriipottery for our silent auction. Wheel thrown earthenware with beautiful slip decoration, depicting the oyester catchers along the beaches.

We had a massive tidy up last week in the studio and I found a little stash of these cute Scottish Blackhouse collages.

I’ve been making these for nearly 20 years now and it’s how my greetings card journey began. I used to make and sell them as cards through my friends pottery in the Isle of Tiree @tyriipottery

Some creations stand the test of time and will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️

This has been on the table for over a week.
Finally got around to taking a photo of it.

Just a bit random…
The wee cat in the bottom left corner, a stocking filler way back in the day, still works. It is about 44 years young 🧐😅❤️ Aye, I’ve still got some of my toys….

Felt like I was in Milan again. Could happily make this part of my daily routine, mid-morning espresso - an espresso with a dark, assassin’s smack - in the sophisticated interior of @sottoedinburgh Walter was welcome too. #ciao #bella

Very chuffed with my new Tyrii Pottery candlesticks which will take pride of place on my kitchen table. Looking forward to enjoying some grub and blether with my good friends on Tiree. Especially the wummin who made these!

Back on Tiree and thinking about my next visit to the pottery and what I’ll get to add to my collection. This is only part of my collection, ha! But my photos show my combined love of flowers and pottery. I’ve even painted one of Helen and Jean’s pieces. With tulips from my good friend Sientje (of highlandseaceramics). Sitting in the Tiree sunshine right now and feeling grateful for my creative friends.

Erin has been asking for years to learn the art of pottery.

A very big thank you to @tyriipottery for letting her have a go on the wheel this summer.

Erin is delighted with her first pot and keen to continue practicing her pottery skills 😁
