After 2 months of going back and forth, I’ve finally decided to open this can of worms and start a separate account for vocal jazz🥳 For the longest time, I thought keeping up with dancing while working full-time was already enough. But these past 3 months of jamming sessions have brought me so much joy, motivation, and friendship, both on and off stage. After over 3 years away from performing, I’m ready to take my identity as a vocalist seriously again and keep growing in vocal jazz🎤

And special shoutout to @kev_wooo — reconnecting with you has genuinely been one of the best things that’s happened to me in adult life! Thank you for introducing me to Napoleon’s and the ATL jazz community, and for encouraging me (or should I say pushing me) to sing on stage again. 煽情的话不说了，谢❤️~

Churchill Grounds at the new Mary Lou Williams Jazz Center is sheer wow! 👏&❤️ to every person who helped make this dream place come true. Loved being there last night as part of the soft opening series of shows. From the sound to the sight lines to the food and service to the beauty of the place, this venue is unlike any other and the perfect way to experience live jazz — intimate, acoustic, in the moment. It’s going to attract artists from around the world. Stay plugged in for the November grand opening, and events leading up to it @churchillgroundsjazz

Atlanta has the premier Jazz Club in the country and it’s called @churchillgroundsjazz 💯💯💯💯💯
You have to see it to believe it. What my little brother Will Scruggs has accomplished (with a lot of community support!!!) is incredible! Blessed to be a part of it!

Big ups to my musical fam of @karlaharrisbykjh @tyronejay3 @kellymccartymusic for an incredible canvas to create on. We have a sound the world needs to hear.
