Reaction-based games are a great and fun way to prepare athletes for competition.

Athletes rarely know exactly when or where they’ll need to move. They have to react to what they see, make a decision, and accelerate fast.

These games make training competitive and fun while naturally increasing intent. Instead of telling athletes to sprint faster, the game creates a reason to sprint faster.

✅ Improve reaction time
✅ Drive intent and competitiveness
✅ Train rapid acceleration
✅ Add variety and fun to speed sessions

Give them a try and let me know which one your athletes like best.

This is actually insane.

Ever since AON started, our focus has always been on developing the individual player and helping them reach the next step in their journey. Since RSL announced their U13-U15 groups, we have now had over 20 AON players make the squads this summer. That is an unbelievable achievement for the players, their families, and for us as a training group.

We do not claim to have been the only part of their success. We truly believe that the combination of their club environment, family support, and individual work has helped these players achieve what they have. But at the same time, we believe we are the best at what we do. Over the last few years, we have helped countless players reach RSL and other MLS NEXT academies, and we are only getting started.

At the same time, this does not mean we overlook the players who did not make it. Quite the opposite. We carry the same belief and desire for every single player we work with. We understand that every journey is different and not every path happens at the same speed. We play the long game. We focus on the individual, not comparison.

We love building players. We love helping them achieve greatness in the sport they love. We believe teaching the correct principles allows players to forge their own path, think for themselves, and grow both on and off the field. We are teachers of the game, and our mission is to inspire players and ballers across the world, especially in Utah, to join us and elevate their football experience just like so many already have.

Thank you to every parent and player for the trust.

We move forward.

P.s. AI helped a lot with creating this picture so don’t kill us haha. Thanks to @landonwwallace for helping out!

GOING NATIONAL 🇺🇸

Three of our 2012 Utah United Academy players were recently invited to the U.S. Youth National ID Camp and the ID2 National Olympic Development Camp in Southern California.

This does not happen by accident.

It is built in the dark.
Early sessions. Extra reps. Real sacrifice.

Another awesome speed session with this awesome group.
These guys show up, compete, and make each other better each week. I love their energy and passion. Fastest group of baseball and soccer players. Speed is earned, not given. #yeahbuddy #speedtraining #speedkills #earnednotgiven #speed #speeddrills #speedandagility

These guys crushed it this morning. Got up early on a Friday morning in the summer to get some speed work in. While their competition sleeps they are out here getting better. They want it bad and I can’t wait to watch them get better every week. #yeahbuddy #speedkills #speed #speedtraining #acceleration
