Great training and a great 20th birthday with the team in St. Moritz.

I’m super excited for my first u23 world champs in 10 days. I’ve done all I can to this point, and trainings been going very well. Time to taper and prepare 😋.

Change is a good thing

I am excited to have joined USAT’s Project Podium. A year ago, none of this was even a thought. Growing up in the sport of triathlon, I became familiar with Project Podium. It used to be a huge dream of mine to be on the team, but that was all I thought it was. I never gave a second thought to it. But… things changed. This truly is a dream come true and still doesn’t feel real.

I want to thank GOD for giving me the ability to do something I love at such a high level. I want to thank Coach Parker for finding me and giving me this great opportunity. I want to thank Iowa State, especially Coach Suds and Coach Pat, for giving me a great year to run at the NCAA Division 1 level. Lastly, I want to thank my family for always being there to support me through it all.
Time to work!

SOUTHERN HILLS 26' ft. our team van lowk broke down on the side of the road and then (after getting a ride) we get into a collision with an Animal 😭😭✌️✌️✌️

37TH OUT OF 67 but 3rd in the D2 rankings 🤤🤤 i looked at my time from 2 years ago and i was lowk faster so this is a W

RACE REPORT: THE SWIM - genuinely had to pop up a few times and look at the water like Ts 🤔🤔🤔 because the sun was shining unconsensually in my eyes and i Could Not see anything + why did we have to climb Mt Everest to get to the transition 😢😢

THE BIKE: GENUINELY fighting for my life on the first hill because I COULD NOT lose the draft 😭😭👀 on the way back someone launched an attack up the pop up hill and one girl goes "of course someones attacking 🫩🫩" which is real af but we had bigger fish to fry aka not getting dropped 😢WE DID NOT GET DROPPED and we descended down the last hill (lowk i thought someone was gonna crash and take everyone out) and we begin THE RUN....

THE RUN: HOLY MOLY this run has like 2 climbs in it and it genuinely cooked me and my whole generation and family 😭😭 exited t2 first (aura) watched everyone pass me in the first 20 seconds (aura loss) BUT ITS OKAY we finish the run smoothly and strongly and lie on the ground dying afterwards 🤑🤑🤑

SHOUTOUT SOME GANGSTERS LIKE @samantha.aperry @jenna.topott @tyty.kov @payton._.sheehan BECAUSE WE REUINTED AS GANG MEMBERS ON THIS FINE DAY 🥺🥺😋😋 SEE YALL SOON for our home race... 😈😈

THE DRIVE HOME: about 100 miles from the beautiful grand junction colorado our Literal Axel falls off of our car and we're stranded on the side of the highway 😟😟😟 our eta WAS 9 pm for coming home but we LITERALLY get home at 1 am because of the long process of waiting for The tow truck and also our amazing rides (who drove the 2 hours from GJ to pick us up and drive 2 hours back) and SHOUTOUT the SMALL BEAR that we UNFORTUNATELY HIT on the way back 😱😱🙏🙏🙏 genuinely thought we werent gonna make it back but @nate_siener 's car was luckily A-Okay (driving wise) and so we continued on our merry journey home 🤑

FIRST RACE OF THE SEASON AND A FEW MORE COMING UP GANGSTERS SEE YALL THERE 👀👀👀
