5 YEARS IN SAN DIEGO🥹🌴🌊

5 years ago, I found roommates on Facebook and took a leap of faith moving to San Diego.

Fun fact: I’m originally from Corona, so I’ve always been a SoCal girl☀️

-
One of the biggest questions I get is “How do you make friends as an adult in San Diego?”
Here’s my advice:

🏓Join a sports league
@volosandiego is a great way to meet people and socialize before and after games.

🍽️Get a fun part-time job
I worked at a restaurant when I first moved here. Shortly after I got a job with the @padres where I met some of my closest friends!

👯‍♀️ Join a social club
Check out @happygirlclub or @seeyouinsd + so many other unique groups you can be a part of.

⛪️Find a church community
We got plugged in at @newbreakchurch
But I know so many San Diegans love @captivatechurchsd & @collegeave.church ✝️

💬 Put yourself out there
Get off your phone, strike up conversations. We have meet friends at bars, music festivals, & at the dog beach.

Stepping into @leilanorthpark feels like being transported into another world ✨
The decor is stunning, the flavors are bold, and while it’s definitely on the pricier side, every single bite was worth it.

We started with the chicken shawarma hummus (don’t skip it) and shared the Soltani platter - absolutely incredible. North Park gem 🪔🤎
