Register for Intramural Sports at University of Alabama in Huntsville this semester in just 3 steps! ⚽️🏀

FAQs:

•”Why is my team pending/waitlisted?”
All teams are placed in pending/waitlist until they meet the minimum team member requirements. If you have met the minimum teammates give our staff time to move you into the league/tournament. If you have any concerns email recreation@uah.edu.

•”The registration due date is after the start date?”
That’s right- For sport leagues registrations remain open AFTER the start date for late entries to the overall bracket!

•”I don’t know where the league is.”
Locations of the leagues are located in the descriptions of the sport listings, however if this information is missing or if you do not know where that location on campus is reach out to our student staff at +1 256-824-5500, or email recreation@uah.edu!

•”How can I send out invites to my team?”
After creating your team you should be prompted to share a team link! If you have passed this page, simply select your team and click roster and the shareable link is also available there! Teammates can also locate your team in the FusionPlay app and request to join directly without this link.

•”Is there any other way to register?”
Not at this time. The FusionPlay app is the only way for students to sign up for intramurals- it is available on both the App Store and GooglePlay Store. It is free to students, and student accounts are already connected!

•”Can Non-Students, Non-Alumni Register?”
Except for in special leagues where allowance is specifically mentioned leagues are open to UAH Students only!

•”What if I am a part-time, gap semester, or alumni?” Students in part-time or gap semesters with fitness center membership or day passes are able to participate in Intramurals. Alumni with fitness center memberships are also able to participate!

Have any more questions? Drop them below or email us at recreation@uah.edu

As student expectations continue to shift toward holistic well-being, recovery, connection and nontraditional recreation, teams are being challenged to keep up with these evolving needs.

As a result, leaders are changing the way they approach renovations and facility design — and it doesn't always mean a new building or an expensive project.

In our latest feature, explore how Murray State University and The University of Alabama in Huntsville are using student feedback, usage data and flexible design to create spaces that meet today's needs while preparing for the future of campus rec.

Plus, industry partners DynaDome, Sasaki and Moody Nolan share the top trends and challenges facing campus rec operators along with strategies for renovation planning.

⚡️ 2026 TEAM EVALUATIONS ⚡️

The 2026 season is officially underway!

We had a great turnout at this year’s team evaluations, with five new shooters committing to join the team! We’re excited to welcome them and can’t wait to see what they accomplish this year. 💥

A huge thank you to Maury County Gun Club for allowing us to use their facilities and helping us provide a great evaluation experience for our prospective members!

We also want to give a special thank you to Greg and Gregory Jones for running evaluations and taking the time to work with each of our new shooters. Your support of our team is greatly appreciated!

We’re looking forward to another great year of practices, competitions, and representing the Chargers. The team is growing, and we’re just getting started!

Welcome to the team, Chargers! ⚡️💙
