Oh how I’ve missed church retreats! Encounter was completely and utterly amazing. The weekend was a complete blast with chaos and love at every point! The Super Bowl on Sunday was so fun to watch with my chi alpha family! The games we played were crackhead insane but full of laughs! ❤️ (If I didn’t tag you, please lmk!) #jesus #churchretreat #familylove #superbowlsunday

"I'm never going to work for an oil company"

That's what Sean Hudson said when he graduated. But after six months in his parents' basement, God opened a door he never expected—straight into the oil industry.

Nine months later, when Sean was laid off, he drove home listening to the radio. One line pierced the silence: "Just wait, there's something better coming."

He knew better was coming. Though he wanted out of oil, God had other plans. Today, Sean works as a Production Engineer at Almatis, serving industries that rely on the very resources he once said he'd avoid.

Come hear Sean's story at the Faith+Work Panel on Oct. 2!

Thursday, Oct. 2
6:00-7:30pm

Laura Sossamon is the founder of Legacy Law Firm—but that wasn't always her plan.

After law school she swore she'd never step into private practice. The legal world felt cold, competitive, and cutthroat. But five years later God asked her one simple question that changed everything:

"What if it's your firm?"

Now Laura leads Legacy Law Firm with a vision to transform the practice of law by creating a culture where truth and justice flow from Love.

Come hear her story at the Faith+Work Panel on Oct. 2!

What matters more than titles? People.

Jody Rowland has built a career on people, not titles. From selling cars and managing loans, to leading construction sites and now serving as VP of Operations for one of the nation's largest homebuilders, Jody's story proves that experience shapes wisdom.
Through it all, he's learned one core truth: every person has value — not because of what they do, but because they're made in the image of God.

Hear Jody's story at the Faith+Work Panel on Oct. 2!
