Your major, your Sonny Angel 👼🏼

(UBC Sonny Angel sticker illustrated by UBCO alum, @kellygrace.art 💙)

You’re always up to date with online trends and celebrity moments. You probably just asked someone for their Letterboxd…

You’re forever giving book recs and quoting niche historical literature.

You can usually be found people watching and you’re a great adaptor.

You’re the “wait I can fix it” friend. A logical problem solver.

You’re constantly analyzing the behaviour of those around you and know way too much about Freud.

You’re very outdoorsy and have an overly detailed explanation for organisms.

You’re probably at the gym instead of class and you can be very competitive.

You’re great at noticing things others may not. And you love to unpack the latest pop culture moments.

You haven’t slept in days and live off of coffee. You’re also a great problem solver.

You have perfect looking notes and you’re great at making complicated things seem easy.

Networking is EVERYTHING. You’re also a natural-born leader.

You’re the organized and responsible one in your friend group. You also feel like you’ve been at the hospital more than home lately.

You know an alarming amount of animal facts. You can also be very adventurous.

A match that means more. 🩷

When Aileen Ryou takes the pitch on Friday, she will do so carrying the memory of the woman who was always in her corner.

“The fact that I’m playing right now is because of her, and I’m going to make the most of it and try to make her proud.”

The upcoming Soccer for Cancer match is an opportunity to honour her mom while helping other families who have been affected by the disease by raising support for the Kelowna Cancer Lodge.
