The Promise, the Process and the Performance | #TVSEC | Sun. 10th, July 2022

THE PROMISE,THE PROCESS AND THE PERFORMANCE .

Matthew 8:1‭-‬3 NKJV
When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

🔹📌A good number of times the issue with us is not that we don't believe that God is able....but we struggle to believe if God is willing...it's a general perception that God is able to do....but it gets personal when we believe He is also willing to do.

SITUATIONS WILL ALWAYS WANT TO TELL YOU THAT GOD IS NOT WILLING...

Luke 1:45 KJV
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

🔹📌There is the promised manifestation of the blessing which is predicated by our faith on the faithfulness of the promiser.

Hebrews 10:23 KJV
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Your faith is the link bridge btwn the promise and its manifestation.cos you can only receive by faith.

📌RECEIVING IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES OF HUMANITY.

Hebrews 11:11 KJV
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

Romans 4:19‭-‬21 KJV
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

🔹📌When we apply our faith in the promise rather than the promiser,we will be disappointed.Who or what is the author of your faith?
...Looking unto Jesus author and finisher of your faith...it is only the faith that He authored that overcomes the world/ situations
In conclusion
Our confession is on the promise we hope for ,tha
