"Recently, I had the privilege of being selected as one of 16 @universitycollegecork students to take part in the UCC Finance Forum trip to London. This annual trip provides students with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the financial services industry and to engage directly with some of the world’s leading institutions.

Over the course of three days, we visited @citi , @jpmorgan, and @ubs , where we gained invaluable insights into the banking and financial sector. Hearing from professionals at different stages of their careers offered an excellent perspective on the diverse career paths available, the culture within these organisations, and the skills required to succeed in this industry.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Chairpersons Lia O’ Brien and Leon Quirke, and Vice-Chairs Aoife Barrett and Claire Dorgan, for the significant work they put into organising such an insightful, well-structured, and memorable trip.

I would strongly recommend that next year’s second-year students consider applying to the UCC Finance Forum, as it is a fantastic opportunity to learn, network, and gain invaluable exposure to the financial sector."
