My response when people ask me how I pulled off executing my NYSC personal cds project - from discovery to commissioning.✨✨🔥

The secret?: God, Grit & having an amazing support system.

It was year-end thanksgiving @houseontherockchurch yesterday and we showed up in our traditional attire.😀 It's been a great year and truly, we've got too many reasons to be thankful to God.

Time ⌚: Whilst you're still struggling to waking up at 5am 🕔 because you have to prepare and travel from the Mainland to the Island 🏝 for a job that resumes at 8am 🕗, some other persons are already having a busy day at the morning market as early as 4am 🕓, {according to an economist, they're called the informal sector}, these few men 🚹 and plenty women 🚺 are already active and cashing out; selling perishable food 🍲 items to those who are going to prepare that Amala, Ewedu àti Jollof rice 🍚 at that favourite Bukka you love to visit during work break. I often go to this morning market that is about 15mins 🕒 drive from my residence, and I always wonder, "when did these guys wake up? Did they even sleep at all..?"

Have you ever wondered, the Danfo bus 🚍 driver and his conductor wey don already dey shadow for early mor-mor, when did they leave their houses 🏘? 'cause they often don't live together - when they wake up and eventually caught up with each other to face their day's hustle?

I've once worked a blue collar job, where we ran shifts, night duty resumed at 9am 🕘 and ends at 6am 🕕, no break in between, {so why men 🚹 slept, some others were roaming - doing the Lord's work, I guess}, at 6am 🕕 when the night 🌃 shift ends, someone is already standing by to take the machine to close at 2pm 🕑 and it goes on and on and on... What's my point really? We all wake up at different times ⌚, Bolaji's time ⌚ isn't the same as Chinedu's and so it isn't with that of Aruna. In life, we'll eventually wake up, like an Igbó adage goes, "Oge onye gìrì tètè, ọbụru ụtụtụ é", {I'll not translate that, deal with it}... Don't put yourself in your imaginary competitive box 🗃 and start performing 🎭 in a circuit, life is not Formula 1, the race is not to the swift, we all have our different time ⌚ and season individually, our kairos movement, we just have to trust and believe in The One Who made time ⌚ and follow His process. We won't miss our time ⌚.

So Rock Youths gathered at Rock Studios at the Rock Cathedral HOTR Lekki to shoot a mock video of @ebukasongs @mosesbliss' New Generation this past Sunday and boy was it fun!

It was worth it jumping on an anthem that celebrates the rising generation hungry for him and it was an awesome experience making this clip.

Produced and edited by yours truly.

Special thanks to God for causing it so that we were able to use this part of the church facility to execute our little video shoot. Humbled, honored and grateful.
