Welcome back to all students at The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Our Fall Welcome event was all about COMMUNITY.

The evening began with a powerful Janáček fanfare performed by members of our brass and percussion studios to welcome our new dean, Michael Beckerman. After warm greetings from school leadership, students gathered in departmental sessions, then came together in the courtyard for refreshments, conversation and connection.

Looking forward to a great year of music and scholarship in our special community!
