Veterans don’t do serious for long. #usnavy

Tommy Nutzmann @after_the_uniform_, a retired Navy Chief, explains why his wife is the reason he’s still here, and Ronnie Long @ronaldlonglv, a USMC veteran, explains why nobody at that table was going to let the moment stay heavy for more than two seconds.

Nothing in that room is off limits, and that’s the point. Veterans heal by saying the hard thing out loud and letting somebody turn it into a joke right after. Humor is how a lot of us carry the weight without setting it on anyone, long after the uniform comes off.

The guys who make you laugh hardest are usually the same ones who showed up on your worst day. That’s not deflection. That’s the therapy.

Customer slid into our DMs with poetry, then admitted he’d been stepping out on us. Jody Activities. We did what any senior NCO would do: zero sympathy, full accountability, and one bark to square it away.

Real DM. Real customer. @akame1462 has been counseled and returned to duty.

Now his crew has to pull him the rest of the way out. Get this post to 1,000 likes and 100 comments and a case lands on his doorstep. Leave him hanging and he goes back to the NEX. Your call, shipmates.

Everybody else: code WELCOME gets you 20% off your first order. Orders over $90 ship free CONUS. No poetry required. Barking optional.

Stay faithful. ⚡🇺🇸
