Halloween night, join the @offroading_subarus_of_colorado crew for Haunted Chains & Headlights- a spooky disc golf and night wheeling adventure! We reserved a 3pm tee time at @ghosttowndiscgolf course. Their fee to play is $10 per person, and you can pay the course directly upon arrival. This course is ranked 9th in Colorado on the @udiscapp with 4.6 stars, and is rated Moderate at just over 2mi long. We anticipate a round of disc will take ~2.5 hours. Afterwards, we’ll drive off into the hills of ‘Golden Gilpin’ County for nighttime wheeling. We are familiar with this area and know of trails suitable for all Subarus, stock to modified; we will map the evening depending on what capabilities are in the group. We do plan to stop at a few mining ruins and abandoned buildings throughout the night, so bring flashlights and headlamps. To finish the night, we’ll funnel down to Idaho Springs for pizza and beer before taking off back home. How to plan to attend: •Mark ‘going’ on our FB event or message me here. We like an accurate headcount when possible. •If you want to throw discs with us but don’t have any frisbees, message me; I have extras you can borrow •If you’re wheeling with us, bring offroading-appropriate items with you, including: -Snow jacket / warm clothes -Weather-appropriate shoes -Recovery gear / tow straps -Food and water for every creature in your car -A radio if you have one •Spouses, kids, friends, and pets are all welcome! •Decorate your Subie! Decorate yourselves! •Bring flashlights, headlamps, and other illuminating objects Reach out with questions. See youse out there! 👻 🎃 #Halloween2026 #SubarusOffroad #OSCO #OffroadingSubarusofColorado

Thank you to @udiscapp & Alex for the article on the course collecting milestones @averyjenkins and I shared a few months ago. For those who have been asking, links to my Top 10 in Order which is also shown in the slides above and my Top 150 Courses (in no particular order) are available on two different links within the article on their website!

🇬🇭 Days 2 & 3 in Ghana! What started as a course installation quickly became something much bigger. Over the last two days, every tee pad and basket found its new home. But the best part wasn’t just seeing the course come together. It was seeing the community uniting to build it. Kids from the local school joined in, lending a hand and becoming part of the process of bringing disc golf to their community. With every basket installed and every tee pad in place, this course became a little more than just a place to play. It became something these kids and their community helped create. This isn’t just a course we’re building for a community. It’s a course we’re building WITH them. ❤️ And that’s what the Paul McBeth Foundation is all about.

The team has begun laying out the first ever disc golf course in Ghana! 🇬🇭 This is not only the first course in Ghana, it is also the first course in all of West Africa! The team is lead by Israel Muwanguzi, the Foundation and PDGA’s East Africa Coordinator. He brought a team of 6 Africans and 1 American to help the local community construct this course! Stay tuned for the rest of the course construction!

Short Community Disc Golf Courses - A great way to grow our sport! We are stoked to see our approach to community course design being picked up by Udisc in a recent blog article on their Release Point blog. We love designing disc golf courses of all shapes and sizes but have been confident, for a while now, that well designed short ‘community’ courses are crucial for growing the game and sport. With nearly 30% of NZ’s UDisc-recorded rounds played on Vortica-designed courses, it’s an approach that seems to be working! Big ups to Alex Williamson and UDisc for sharing our story, read the full story link in our bio!

This weekend, four of us enjoyed disc golf at Christie Lake Conservation Area in support of the @chainlinkdiscgolf Conservation Series month long event. We logged all four rounds in the @udiscapp. Two of us used ‘activity round’ mode without keeping score, while the other two tracked their scores. Both options help document course use and count toward the challenge to see how many rounds we can play this month. Christie Lake is a beautiful place to spend time outdoors, whether you’re throwing discs with friends or walking the trails. If you don’t have discs, you can purchase them at the front gate. Don’t forget you can get all your disc golf needs, from discs to gear, at @adventureattic! Thank you to @hamiltonconservation & @hamiltonconservationfdn for all the work you do to keep the course looking great. We had a wonderful day and can’t wait to be back! #discgolf #getoutside #chainlinkdiscgolf #hamiltonconservationauthority

🌲 WFC Disc Golf 🇳🇿 Bottle Lake Blitz with special guest… 🏆 Sarah Wadsworth 3× World Champion & World Record Distance Holder! 🌳 HOLE 12 — THE GAP OF DOOM! PAR 3 | A-Tee: 80m / 262ft | B-Tee: 52m / 170ft 📍 Bottle Lake Disc Golf Course — Christchurch Think you’re getting comfortable in the forest? Bottle Lake has other ideas! 😅🌲🥏 🎯 Kelvin & Sarah — A-Tee: Your first challenge is just 10 metres in front of you… and it’s arguably the hardest part of the whole hole! The gap is incredibly narrow, demanding a precise, controlled shot right from the tee. Clip the wrong tree and your disc could end up anywhere! Once you’ve negotiated that opening gap, you still need to work your way through the dense forest 🌳 — but strangely, the rest of the hole feels a little less stressful once that first shot is out of the way! 🎯 Maree — B-Tee: At 52m, her shorter tee offers a less intimidating start, without quite the same pressure of that opening gap. But nobody gets to switch off just yet… 🚫 WATCH THE LEFT-HAND OB! Just before the basket, the out-of-bounds area is waiting to catch anyone who gets their line wrong. The recipe for success? 🥏 Clear the gap. 🌲 Find your line through the forest. 🎯 Finish with control. Par or better is the goal — but at Bottle Lake, even a simple-looking Par 3 can turn into a serious adventure! 🏆 And with Sarah Wadsworth joining us for this forest challenge, there’s plenty more to see in the Bottle Lake Blitz! 🛒 www.discconnection.com.au Use KELVIN5 or MAREE5 for your discount. @wfcdiscgolf @newzealanddiscgolf @nzdss @disc_connection_disc_golf @udiscapp #DiscGolf #Christchurch #WFCDiscGolf #NZDiscGolf #GrowTheSport 💬 Would you attack that tiny opening gap, or play a safer shot and trust your approach?

This month, @hamiltonconservation & @hamiltonconservationfdn are participating in the @chainlinkdiscgolf Conservation Series with a simple goal: connect as many people as possible to nature through disc golf at Christie Lake Conservation Area. Today, I played the super short layout with friends. It was a great way to enjoy the course, take in the fall colours and spend time outside together. Get out and play as often as you can this October, and let’s see how many rounds we can log! Use @udiscapp to record every visit, either as a scored round or an activity round without keeping score. Your rounds help show how many people are enjoying the course, and an updated, honest review helps others discover it and move it up the Canadian UDisc course ranking list.  There are also ChainLink Conservation Series discs for sale for anyone looking to purchase discs. They are made from recycled materials, glow in the dark and feature nature facts written by HCA conservation staff. They’re a great way to learn about nature while enjoying it. Bring some friends, enjoy the fall colours and make every round count. #discgolf #getoutside #chainlinkdiscgolf
