Theta Grand Convention 2026🤍🪁

Hear from our lovely president @georgiasrichards about her experience!!

This past weekend, I had the incredible honor of representing the Eta Psi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at the 76th Grand Convention in Las Vegas. 💛🖤

I had the opportunity to meet so many inspiring collegian officers, alumnae, and Fraternity staff from chapters across North America. Throughout the weekend, I was reminded how lucky we are to be part of an organization with such a rich history and such dedicated women.

From participating in the legislative process to experiencing Ritual alongside generations of sisters, I left with new ideas, a fresh perspective, and an even greater appreciation for the first Greek letter fraternity known among women.

Congratulations to our newly elected Grand Council officers, and thank you to outgoing Grand President @eadochs for your years of dedicated leadership.
I’m so proud to represent Eta Psi and can’t wait to bring everything I learned back to our chapter. Here’s to another great semester for Eta Psi! 💛🖤

theta grand convention 2026! 💛🖤🪁

This past weekend, three of our members traveled to Las Vegas to attend Grand Convention! During Grand Convention, our girls networked with active and alumnae Thetas from all over the country, and attended recruitment sessions in prepartion for our upcoming recruitment cycles.

We were also honored with the Bronze Kite Award, which gives recognition to outstanding chapters throughout the country.

Here is what Audrey, Melissa, and Katie had to share about their experiences:

“Going to Grand Convention was an inspiring and informative experience! We got to meet so many chapters and learn from each other. It’s so wonderful to see all of the alumni and recognize that Theta is truly for life!” - Audrey Schaal, President

“Attending Grand Convention was an incredible honor and experience that will continue to shape the way I lead and serve our chapter. We had the opportunity to connect with other chapters from around the United States and Canada, learn from their unique perspectives, and bring new ideas back to strengthen our chapter. I am so grateful to Theta for this unforgettable experience and I look forward to applying what we learned as we continue to grow Gamma Kappa.” - Melissa McQueen, Vice President Membership

“It was such an amazing opportunity to join my sisters at Grand Convention 2026! Connecting with other chapters around North America was moving and inspiring. Meeting sisters from their twenties to nineties showed Theta’s life long impact.” - Katie Porter, Executive Recruitment Board & 2025 Vice President DEI

The time has come for our graduating seniors — thank you for the memories, the leadership, and the love you brought into this community over the past four years 🤍

Your impact has been felt in every chapter, every event, and every connection made along the way. You helped create a community rooted in friendship, support, and sisterhood, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire future members for years to come.

From the excitement of recruitment to the moments that brought us closer together, each memory has helped shape such a meaningful college experience. While it’s bittersweet to see this chapter come to an end, the friendships and bonds formed through Panhellenic will always remain.

As you move on to new beginnings, know that this community will always be cheering you on. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — your presence made this community stronger, brighter, and more special than words can ever say. Forever a Blue Hen 💙💛

Our next Panhellenic Feature is words from Mia, a sophomore in Kappa Alpha Theta, sharing her experience and advice on mental health!

“Hey! My name is Mia and I’ve been suffering from OCD, anxiety, and depression for years. Mental health is so important to me because I have been dealing with it for so many years now. Waking up everyday fighting your own thoughts is exhausting and I want people to know that they are never alone. Walking down the street seeing other people smiling and happy while you feel down is an awful feeling. But in reality, behind so many of those smiles are people feeling the same pain as you. I’ve been fighting this battle for about 12 years now. Never give up and continue fighting. You are loved! Xoxo🤍 “

Marking our fifth chapter showcasing Women’s History Month, we hear from Kayden Ellington, a sister in Kappa Alpha Theta, here at the University of Delaware!

“I am so grateful to be a part of the sisterhood that is Kappa Alpha Theta. These leading women have encouraged me to use my voice, to strive for greatness, and have stood in my corner supporting me through all of my endeavors. My sisters within this chapter have taught me so much, and have inspired me to be an educated, ambitious, and empathetic woman. This month, highlighting all of the wonderful women in my life and in this chapter who shape and strengthen my character, is something I am so thankful I can do. While words don’t even begin to cover my gratitude, I can’t thank Theta enough for giving me friendships I can’t imagine doing life without!”
- Kayden Ellington

Thank you Kayden for allowing us such an insightful and inspiring look into sisterhood. We can’t wait to hear more from our remaining chapters!!
