Over the weekend, I had the honor of playing keys and singing with rock legend June Millington.

It was an amazing journey to learn and play a combination of June’s solo work and Fanny songs (her band from the 1970’s, which was the first all female band to release an album on a major label in the U.S.).

Thank you to the @thestationeryfactory for having us.

Next show is this Saturday! We’re playing in Dalton, which is at the edge of Hwy 9, just before Pittsfield from Goshen. This will be a good one, try to join us! A benefit for IMA ... xx

🪩Where is the whirlwind emoji when you need it? 🌬️

🌈We SOLD OUT the closing night of the Provincetown run! What an incredible Summer and season. I will be posting more about all the angels that were part of making it such a success, but for now: LOOK HOW HAPPY THE BEAVER AND I LOOK!! 🦦

🩷What a deep, joyous, exhausting and beautiful time. Thank you, Fran. Thank you Provincetown. Thank you to everyone who works at @pocafecabaret and especially to @rdruther who stage managed the whole she-bang.

📸We had a professional photographer there on the last night, so once I sort through those I’ll be sharing more.

🛼It was a feat of epic proportions to pack up the show and skid out of town to go play two magic shows with @melissaferrick at @imaeast and @rockwellthtr

🎙️For those of you who don’t know, IMA is the brainchild of @manilajune and @annfrosthackler and holds a very special place in my heart.

💎Bitch and Animal made “Sour Juice and Rhyme” there—produced by June. It was right when they first moved to the property in Goshen, and we basically recorded in their bedroom. As June would say “Rock and Roll!”

🔮We also made a bunch of “Make This Break This” at this house, (@udugirl is who played udu on “Witches”!) so I asked @erinxmckeown to snap a pic of me in the back yard to mark the moment of being back.

🎀The Rockwell Theater in Somerville is a great space and got me inspired to do more stuff there!!

🧸As always, my merch butch @sarahsullivan555 came and helped us all through it, with her awesome gf @carolynnrising

🎹To get to spend a weekend in Melissa’s songs and poetry, to end one chapter and start a new one (HEY FALL TOUR) very quickly, is sometimes the best way for an Aries.

☎️Don’t forget I have tour dates all through December (just confirmed some Indigo Girls shows!) so stay tuned for it all.

✏️Thank you to @puddledive11 and @beccsmusic and @faithsoloway for some of these pics!

All set up and ready to rock and roll on this next @voxlumina recording session at the super fabulous @imaeast Institute for the Musical Arts in Goshen, Massachusetts!

In addition to the inspiring natural beauty of this place, this school of music and music camp was built by rock legend @manilajune of Fanny and her partner @annfrosthackler, and has been going strong for over 20 years.

I have the great honor and pleasure of working with my dear friend and long time musical collaborator Janelle Burdell aka @udugirl on this project as well.

Plus a legendary analog recording system (SSL 4040G mixing board from Berklee College of Music combined by engineer Judy Elliot Brown) and a studio designed by Walters-Storyk Design (he did Electric Lady studio for Jimi Hendrix) and another stupendous sound engineer, David Chalfant.

Wow. #iamblessed

There is so much music that comes to me and through me and it’s been high time to get into the studio to record these moments and get them out into the world- to you!

Today I’ll be recording a few of my crystal bowl sound bath meditations and the narration for the Song of Light.

🤘🤘🤘🤘

Plus, 👆activating a bit of #throatchakra energy today for sure, thanks to my @chakraactivation tools and techniques!

Let’s go!

Rock on!

Shine on!
