Good morning and HAPPY TRANSFORM TODAY!!🤗💜

For those of you who don’t know, this is my second year being involved with Dance Marathon at UF, and I’m so excited and grateful to share that this year I have the honor of serving as a Merchandise Captain! 🐊✨

Dance Marathon at UF is an organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and the incredible children and families it serves. During our 26.2-hour fundraising event, we come together with one mission: to make miracles happen for the kids who need it most. 💛

This year’s campaign, #PowerOfUs, is a reminder that every single one of us has the power to make a difference. Every donation, every share, and every act of support brings us one step closer to creating a brighter future for these children and their families.

I would LOVE your support as I kick off my fundraising efforts this year! No donation is too small, and every dollar truly makes a difference. If you’re able, please consider donating to my donor drive linked in my bio or through Venmo at @maileem! 🫶

I’m so excited for another year of making miracles happen and am incredibly grateful for everyone who chooses to support this mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of these kids and families.

$1,152,326.32. This year Dance Marathon at UF raised $1,152,326.32 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. I have no words but thank you, thank you to every single person who donated, shared, or just sent a supportive message along the way. Dance Marathon has changed who I am as a person. This organization has taught me more about life than anything I have ever been a part of. This year I raised $3,430, which is almost $1000 more than last year. I am forever indebted to DM and this team for showing me how to love people I have never met, taught me the meaning of strength and courage, and given me a family here at UF. Again, I thank each and every single one of you for supporting me and helping me make $3,430 miracles this year. I love you all and go Gators!!

Good morning friends and family!

Today is finally the day of Dance Marathon at the University of Florida’s annual Main Event. This means that for the next 26.2 hours I will be working alongside hundreds of students to raise funds and awareness for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital here in Gainesville, FL!

This event is what my team and I have been working all year long towards. Being AD of Store and Incentives on the Merchandise team I will be selling merchandise, passing out incentives, listening to miracle stories, fundraising, dancing, and having so much fun!!!

Every dollar donated goes directly to supporting the hospital in many ways such as life saving equipment, pediatric research, critical treatment, patient care, and more! For many children, their journey in the hospital lasts much longer than 26.2 hours and any amount contributed truly makes a difference in their daily lives.

If you would like to support this cause that is so important to me, please consider donating at the link below to help me reach my goal!

Good morning everyone!! TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF THE FALL ‼️🐞❤️🎈It is Dance Marathon at UF’s biggest annual Fall fundraiser, ‘Transform Today’!!! This event is a 26.2 hour long fundraising push starting at 9:00am today that mimics our Main Event that is hosted in the Spring. This year will mark my 3rd Transform Today in a row, and I hope to make the strongest impact yet as Assistant Director of Store and Incentives on the Merchandise Team! I will be on campus today and tomorrow raising funds and spreading awareness to people across campus and beyond! All of the funds raised throughout the year go directly towards UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital here in Gainesville, FL.

I plan on posting updates of the activities we are doing all throughout the day, so stay tuned!! This organization means so much to me and has truly had such a positive impact on my life. I am aiming to raise $500 within these next 26.2 hours, so please consider donating anything you can to make your difference on the children at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital! If you aren’t able to donate at this time, please consider reposting/sharing my post to spread more awareness.
