Labor Day weekend was fun🔥🌴☀️

There’s so many battles that people before me fought that afford me the opportunity today to be who I am more freely and with less fear of retribution❤️

There’s so many ongoing battles that courageous people are out there fighting daily to protect our rights. 💪🏽

There’s battles ahead as the fight for human rights - reproductive, racial equality, LGBTQIA+ equality, etc - continues. 👊🏾🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🤰

So as pride month comes to a close, I feel compelled to remind myself to be courageous, authentic, and loving and to do my part in this fight. 🌈

I’m also overwhelmed with gratitude:

- For my chosen family. They love me and help me feel connected.
- For the fighters out there.
- For the opportunity to do my part in that fight.
- For the communities of which I’m a part.
- For continued growth and authenticity.

To me, the happenings in the world today can sometimes feel overwhelming. So, to anyone, absolutely anyone, who may need to talk - I’m always a DM away. 💌

We don’t have to go through this life alone, and it’s my hope that I can pay forward the love and connection that has been freely given to me. ❤️🌈
