And just like that, we're open for business. 👊🫡

We had such a fun time at @wizardscollectionsa where @ugcza hosted its "First Wednesdays" offline gaming sessions 🎮. Open to any and everyone, this event takes place every first Wednesday of the month. Whether you're into gaming, would like to start, or simply want to peek into the culture, this is the space for you! 🫵 From Tekken, to Street Fighter to retro games such as Guitar Hero and more; these chilled sessions tick all the boxes for an awesome evening😊

Chooco will be at the next one serving up freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and our ooey gooey scoop cookies🤤🍪. Hope to see you there... Just say yes😉

Doing a FGC Tier list was the best and worse thing to do at a casual session 😂. Thank you again for @ugcza for the allowing this to happen and thank you to everyone who participated. Which tier list should we do next 🤔. #tierlist #streetfighter #tekken

We headed to Level 4 of Rosebank Mall for Neon Fist, an absolute firecracker of an event hosted by @ugcza and @awande_ at The Urban Playground (@1up_rosebank) .

We're guessing the name is a reference to Tekken (which translates to 'Iron Fist') and the bright neon lights we see in K-Pop MVs. What we are more sure about is that this community-driven tournament was a full-scale celebration of SA's suprisingly dedicated fighting game community and K-Pop fashion and dance, which is gaining cultural currency in urban South Africa.
